Inspiring Indonesian Fashion Progeny Together with the International Fashion Icon Luka Sabbat
Looking to bolster educational offer of Binus Northumbria School of Design (BNSD) and the Indonesian fashion market even further, International Peace Foundation (IPF) and BINUS UNIVERSITY bring to Jakarta a prominent international fashion icon, Luka Sabbat, for a series of events between April 10 and April 15, 2017. Luka Sabbat is internationally known as a social media influencer and for his contribution to the fashion industry in areas of styling, creative directing, design directing, acting, modeling.
BNSD is a joint venture between BINUS UNIVERSITY and reputable Northumbria University, UK offering programs on demand on the Indonesian expanding fashion market. BINUS UNIVERSITY and IPF keep working together in Indonesia to promote knowledge exchange and dialogues for peace, this time by connecting Luka Sabbat and BNSD.
With BINUS UNIVERSITY dedicated to the provision of market relevant education with a global perspective, the two organizations already partnered in early 2017 to bring the Nobel Laureate in Physics, Prof. Sheldon L. Glashow to speak with Indonesian university students.
IPF is well respected internationally for its BRIDGES event series, bringing Nobel Laureates to ASEAN to spur research collaboration and dialogue between people from different backgrounds. With a large success of this event series through which 11 Indonesian universities hosted Nobel Laureates this year, BINUS UNIVERSITY and IPF now hope to continue and deepen this collaboration tapping into IPF’s strong network of leaders across walks of life.
As such, Luka Sabbat together with his girlfriend and model Adriana, his manager and agent will share knowledge and expertise with students and the wider Indonesian fashion industry through a range of activities during their visit between April 10 and April 14, 2017.
Specifically, Luka Sabbat will share his knowledge with university students and the public at the Indonesian Fashion Week at Senayan City Mall and at BNSD. BINUS UNIVERSITY and IPF also recognize that this is an opportunity to create important connections between professionals in the fashion industry. Organization team has included in the schedule time for discussions and workshops with media, Indonesian fashion industries and photographers.
